Polyurethane Windshield Glue is an ultra-fast, high initial strength, single-component elastic adhesive based on polyurethane designed specifically for the replacement of windshields for the automotive market. Solvent-free, odorless and quick-drying, this glue allows a vehicle to be released with or without a double airbag after just 1 hour. Formulated specifically to provide a strong elastic-structural bond between elements of different compositions and which undergo strong mechanical or thermal stress. Its high density eliminates any risk of sagging after application. Hardens by the action of air and ambient humidity, high SHORE A hardness (58). Crash test approved, can be used for bonding glass, windshield, quarter window, rear window. Suitable for application with integrated antennas.

Instruction for use

The surfaces to be treated must be perfectly clean, dry and free of dust and grease. It is necessary to treat the windshield and its bonding surface using a specific windshield cleaner (IT339) and the associated adhesive primer (IT338). Application of sealant: Mount the cartridge in a manual or pneumatic gun equipped with a telescopic piston. Take a nozzle and cut it into a V so that you can make a triangular joint with a minimum thickness of 10 to 14 mm. To have a regular joint, use a pneumatic gun and place the glue on the sheet metal or on the old joint. If necessary, use additional support during the curing period after installation. The finishing must be carried out within the skin formation time of the putty, i.e. 20 min. Vehicle can be released after 1 hour (with or without double Airbag) at a temperature of +/- 23°.
