Shake the aerosol well for approx. one minute before use!
Disassemble the temperature or pressure sensor or lambda sensor or release any opening upstream of the DPF catalyst. Insert the spray probe through the opening thus released. Inject the cleaner, with the engine stopped, via 5-second sprays interspersed with 5-second breaks until the DPF/catalyst is completely filled with foam. Next, remove the spray probe and close the previously released inlet. During the cleaning process, the deposits dissolve and disperse into microfine particles in the DPF/catalyst so that they can be burned during the regeneration of the DPF.
Once cleaning is complete, perform a forced regeneration using the diagnostic tool. Read the faults in the computer memory and, if necessary, delete the existing fault codes. Next, do a test drive of at least 20 minutes. The DPF & Catalyst Cleaner is ideal for cleaning closed-type DPFs.
For effective natural DPF regeneration, we recommend using DPF cleaner IT105 after the road test.
For catalyst cleaning of petrol vehicles, we recommend using injector cleaner IT101 as a preventive measure. One aerosol can per application/DPF/catalyst. Spray probe included.
